Omaha is a wonderful place to live and was an ideal choice for the location of the headquarters of the International Sanatana Dharma Society and Vedic Community. The growth we are witnessing and the quality of the people attracted to our community is remarkeable.

I count myself fortunate to be a part of this Vedic community and look forward to a future filled with continued growth.

Nice video about affordability of living in Omaha.

"The very heart of Sanatana Dharma consists of experiencing a direct and intimate realization of God in devotion (bhakti). Without such an experience, Sanatana Dharma is rendered devoid of all meaning and purpose. To love God is to embrace Dharma. And to embrace Dharma thoroughly and without reservation is what it means to be a Hindu."

Default Photos of Fontanelle Nature Center near Omaha, NE

I took these photos yesterday at this beautiful nature center near Omaha with my little Razr cellphone 1.3mp camera. Fontanelle nature center is in Bellevue, Nebraska and is a great place to hike for hours.

    The boardwalks are very pleasant.

This bridge crosses a creek that is farther off on one of the trails that is off the boardwalk.

There is a neat railroad bridge in the pic. I'll have to return to photograph this one again.

More to come in the next message...

Below are some more pictures from my walk at Fontanelle nature center yesterday. I bet this will be a great place to visit to see the fall colors too. To see a picture enlarged or to see a slideshow, just click on a photo.
