Webmaster's Note:  Between February 14, 2001 and March 2004, Dr. Morales has conducted over 100 seminars, lectures and talks.  Due to the large amount of information, we decided to limit details of previous events to before February, 2001.  This section of Dharma Central has not been updated since that date.   
  • February 14, 2001. "Unleashing the Power of Mantras". Led by Frank Morales, this class taught students the science and technique behind powerful sound vibrations known as mantras. Students learned how to use the power of mantras to unblock and unleash their dynamic hidden potential.

  • February 7, 2001. "Stilling the Mind/Awakining the Self: An Introduction to the Power of Meditation". Frank Morales led this introduction to the life-enhancing power of the meditative experience.

  • February 1 - March 8, 2001. "Upasana Yoga". Frank Morales taught students the most ancient, authentic and immediately effective school of Yoga known. The class offered a gentle and meditative system of asanas, leaving students feeling reinvigorated, yet deeply relaxed.

  • January 31, 2001. "Experiencing Truth: How to Know God". In this very special intensive, Frank Morales taught the ancient yogic way of achieving direct experience of God in our lives.

  • November 29, 2000. "Stilling the Mind/Awakining the Self: An Introduction to the Power of Meditation". Frank Morales led this introduction to the life-enhancing power of the meditative experience.

  • October 13, 2000. "Conference On South Asia". Frank presented an academic paper at the Conference on South Asia at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. "Mistress of All Beings: Sri Laksmi as the Feminine Embodiment of the Absolute".

  • September 11, 2000. "Exploring the Bhagavad Gita", with Frank Morales. A six week workshop indepth study of this most important of Yoga works with one of the nation's leading scholars of Hindu philosophy. Sponsored by Oasis Yoga, 634 Main Street, Madison, Wisconsin.

  • September 12, 2000. "Exploring the Yoga Sutras", with Frank Morales. A six week workshop indepth study of this foundation of Yoga practice and philosophy. Sponsored by Oasis Yoga, 634 Main Street, Madison, Wisconsin.

  • July 28 - 30, 2000. As part of the World Association for Vedic Studies conference, Frank Morales directed an academic symposium entitled New Approaches to the Study of South Asia. This symposium brought together some of the world's leading reformers and scholars in the field of Indian/Hindu/Vedic studies.

  • July 21 - 22, 2000. Introduction to Meditation taught by the nation's leading meditation masters.

  • June 14, 2000. Frank taught "Language of the Gods: A Course in Spiritual Sanskrit", an introductory 6 week course on sanskrit.

  • June 10, 2000. Frank moderated a symposium of Hindu speakers organized by the Vishva Hindu Parishad. He delivered an address entitled "Dharma Ascending: Hindu Renaissance and the Twenty-First Century". Houston, Texas. 2:00 p.m.

  • April 29, 2000. American Academy of Religion Midwest Conference. St. Paul, Minnesota. Frank presented an academic paper entitled: "Shastra-pramana: The Role of Hindu Literature in the Epistemology of Jiva Gosvamin." Luther Seminary, 1:00 p.m.

  • April 22, 2000. "The Significance of Om in Hindu Spirituality". A talk commemorating World Peace Day. 5:00 p.m. Library Mall, Madison, Wisconsin.

  • April 15th, 2000. Frank Morales gave a talk at the University of Iowa, Iowa City. "Dharma Ascending: Hindu Renaissance and the Twenty-First Century". 2:00 p.m. Iowa Memorial Union, Rm. 347, "Minnesota Room".

  • March 15, 2000. "Exploring the Bhagavad Gita", with Frank Morales. A six week workshop indepth study of this most important of Yoga works with one of the nation's leading scholars of Hindu philosophy. Sponsored by Oasis Yoga, 634 Main Street, Madison, Wisconsin.

  • March 2nd, 2000. There was a lecture by Frank Morales called: "The Teachings of the Bhagavad Gita in Practical Application" at the University of Illinois in Chicago. About 70 students attended this talk sponsored by the Hindu Students Council.

  • February 16, 2000. Frank Morales gave a talk to about 60 graduate students for The Global Connections Forum (an inter-disciplinary academic organization). "Dispelling the Mystery: An Outline of Hindu History and Culture". 8 PM at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

  • February 8th, 2000. Madison Area Technical College was the site of a talk by Frank Morales. "An Introduction to the Philosophy of the Bhagavad Gita". 6:45 p.m., Downtown Campus, Room D640.

  • January 23, 2000. "The History and Philosophy of Sanatana Dharma". A talk given to the congratation of the Hindu Mandir, Minneapolis, Minnesota. 10:45 AM

  • October 24, 1999. Frank Morales gave a talk at Northwestern University, Evanston, IL. “The Philosophical Foundations of the Hindu Religion”.

  • October 16th, 1999. Talk at Hindu Students Council event, Madison, WI. “The Call of Hinduism”.

  • September 29th, 1999. Talk at Oasis Yoga, Madison. “The History and Philosophy of Yoga”.

  • September 25th, 1999. Talk at Hindu Student Council Midwest Regional Camp. “Sanatana Dharma in Perspective:  Past, Present and Future”.

  • September 10, 1999. “An Introduction to the Hindu Religion and Culture”. Four successive talks at Verona Area High School, Verona, WI.

  • May 30, 1999. Frank Morales gave a talk at the Hindu Students Council annual camp. "The Philosophical Systems of Hinduism". Ann Arbor, Michigan.

  • Dec. 25-27, 1998. Frank attended the Hindu Students Council Coordination Council meeting. Fort Lauderdale, FL.

  • October 25, 1998. Frank Morales gives a talk for the Sanatana Dharma Student Association. “The Harmonization of Diversity:  The Difference Between Varna and Caste”. University of Wisconsin-Madison.

  • October 18th, 1998. Frank Morales gave the keynote speech at a fundraising dinner for the Hindu Temple of Wisconsin. "Preserving the Cultural Heritage of Hinduism". Over $400,000 was raised for the temple (currently under construction just outside Milwaukee) during the event.

  • Sunday, July 14th, 1998 6:00 p.m. Hindu Leadership Seminar. Union South of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Frank Morales led a free seminar designed to help Hindu students develop leadership and organizational skills. The name of Frank Morales’ talk was “Sanatana Dharma and the Twenty-First Century”.

  • Wednesday, July 1st, 1998. "The Importance of Building Hindu Temples". Frank Morales gave a talk to the Board of Directors of the soon to be built Hindu Temple of Wisconsin and spoke about the need of Hindu temples to today’s Hindu youth. Milwaukee, WI.

  • Saturday, June 5th, 1998. Frank Morales, gave a talk in Chicago entitled "The Importance of the Hindu Temple" to an audience of three thousand followers of the Swaminarayana tradition. The event was organized to celebrate the appearance day of Sri Yogiji Maharaj, the last guru of the Bochasanwasi Akshar Purushottam Sanstha.

  • Sunday, May 17th, 1998. Oshkosh Hindu Community Puja. Talk delivered by Frank Morales, the Advisor of the SDSA, entitled “The Nature of Sanatana Dharma”. At the home of Sumit Ringwala, and his parents. This event was part of the regular weekly puja sponsored by the Oshkosh Hindu community. Oshkosh, WI.

  • Monday, May 4th, 1998. ""Unraveling the Mystery:   What Is Hinduism?" Frank Morales gave an introductory talk on Hinduism at Madison West High School, on Regent Street at 1:30 p.m.

  • Sunday, April 5th, 1998, 6:00 p.m. "Acting In Stillness: What is Meditation?". A free mantra-meditation class conducted by Frank Morales, including both an introductory lecture and a practice session for participants. Madison, WI.

  • Sunday, February 15th, 1998. Philosophy Workshop. Frank Morales gave a talk called “Vedic Epistemology: Hindu Ways of Knowing”, at the Sanatana Dharma Student Association. Madison, WI
