As we enter mid-November, the ISDS is commencing our fundraising campaign for the end of the year 2025. Due to the generous support of our many supporters, members and devotees throughout the world, we have accomplished a lot this year. But we are expecting the year 2026 to be our biggest year of growth ever!

Achievements in 2025

2025 saw major construction on the new library at our temple headquarters. With most of the major construction now done, we now need to complete the floor/carpeting and to create a dozen large bookcases for the new Sarasvati Devi Library, as well as purchase several reading chairs, an altar and a beautiful new murti of the goddess Sarasvati.

This year also saw the successful expansion of our Vedic Heartland Initiative, our plan to establish a model Vedic community in the Omaha area. We now have two brahmacharis living full time in the temple, with plans for more to arrive this coming year.

After an all too long wait, Sri Acharyaji’s newest book Be Strong: The Vedic Guide to Self-Empowerment is planned to be released in December of this year. This will be followed very closely by the release of the newly updated and greatly expanded, third editions of Sanatana Dharma: The Eternal Natural Way and The Sanatana Dharma Study Guide. This final and definitive edition of both books will have new, beautiful cover designs and will be available in hardcover, in addition to softcover and Kindle.

Why We Need Your Donations

Running a movement and maintaining a temple building complex is much more costly on a day by day basis than most people know! On average, it takes at least $5000 per month to pay for all temple expenses/maintenance, in addition to all the other expenses associated with running a world-wide movement. Your kind donation will help us to properly budget for these daily expenses.

As mentioned above, we also need your generous support in finishing our Sarasvati Devi Library. We will be purchasing wall to wall vintage carpeting and having it professionally installed. We also need to buy comfortable seating, an altar piece and a beautiful, large murti of Sarasvati. Please help us finish the Sarasvati Devi Library with your donation.

Future temple-land project: Our long-term goal is to eventually purchase a much larger facility in the Omaha area for our growing congregation. Our eventual plan for the 2027-2028 time period is to have a 10-20 acre parcel of land, with a community center and separate temple facility situated on the property. Part of our donations will be put aside with the plan to eventually purchase this land for our new, much expanded, temple.

As the ISDS continues its rapid and increasingly expansive growth, the teachings of Sanatana Dharma continue to reach more and more people every day. Thank you for your much needed help in helping us to restore Sanatana Dharma to the world.
